August 9 - August 23 Sundays (Preschool-Elementary): Our next unit is on Paul. Paul had been one of the leaders persecuting the church, but when he met Jesus on the road to Damascus, all of that changed. Paul became a follower of Jesus and would spend the rest of his life on mission, telling others about the One he used to persecute. Jesus can truly save anyone. 

  • Big Picture Question: Who can be saved? Anyone who trusts in Jesus is forgiven of their sins. 

  • Key Passage: John 3:17 

Preschool Highlights

  • Prayer Bear - Each week, one preschooler will have the special opportunity to take Prayer Bear home! Prayer Bear helps preschoolers learn that prayer is simply talking to God—and we can talk to Him about anything! Our hope is to help children begin developing a lifelong habit of talking with God and knowing that He is always listening. 

Elementary Highlights

  • Treasure Verse Tracker - We are encouraging our elementary students to memorize and recite the Key Passage for each unit this semester. We will have rewards and prizes as incentives along the way! We want our kids to begin hiding God’s Word in their hearts.
