We are moving over to Planning Center for all of our events, including Love Shelbyville Day. When you click the link to sign-up, you may be prompted to create an account, if you do not already have one. If so, follow the steps below:

  • 1. Click on this link and download the app for your phone (works for apple or android users) Church Center 
  • Click "get started" to find our church. 
  • Enter the following information: Christ Community Church, 198 Frankfort Rd. Shelbyville, KY. 
  • Click on our church.
  • Click "log in."
  • Enter your cell phone number. 
  • Enter the one-time SMS login code.

So What is Love Shelbyville Day? 

Love Shelbyville Day, is a day we “go outside” the walls of our church and serve our community. We typically break into 10-15 groups.  We do everything from paint to clean to build things to landscaping; pick up trash, farm chores, etc...whatever the need is. Please feel free to invite your friends, family, community group members and plan on joining us this Sunday!

We meet at Governor’s Square (198 Frankfort Road) at 10 AM and GO from there. We usually finish serving around noon.

Childcare will be provided for children ages birth-5 years-old. We encourage school age children to serve with their parents.​

Check out the group descriptions below. Click on the name of each place we are serving to get more information about what their ministry does day-to-day. Use the link at the bottom of this post to sign up for a group. Pre signing up for groups really helps us be able to serve our partners effectively and get an idea of where we may need more help!

PRAYER- The prayer group always takes time to pray for any specific needs that our community/church/individuals have; if you have something you would like them to pray for you can email your prayer requests in advanced to daniel@loveshelbyville.com and we will make sure it gets to that team.

Childcare @ CCC: 0-2 Year Olds - Providing childcare for CCC families so they are able to go out and serve in different groups (*must submit to a background check).

A Place to Sleep - Delivering beds to families in need.

CRESTVIEW- Room to Room visits with craft in main area, BINGO as a backup, create canvas bags with markers. 

MERCY MEDICAL- Deep Cleaning.

Bright Hope- Changing an office into a library buy building bookshelves, hang bars for large books, and move things over. 

Fire Missions - Serving our Disabled Veterans Housing - Outdoor Area Prep/ Building Furniture

Evangelism Class - Led by David Wheeler, learn to share your faith in every day circumstances AND when on mission for Love Shelbyville Day and beyond!

Operation Care - Women's Shelter - Yard Clean Up - Mow and trim, Deck cleanoff, & Prayer with residents. Need to bring a blower.

A Father's Love - Yard Clean Up, Trimming, and trash

A Father's Love - Backpack Project

House Evangelism - Landscaping and evangelism with a local family. 

Yeshua HC - Demolition Support . Removing cabinets and carpet
