Meet Our Prospective Deacons

We are excited to introduce you to the individuals prayerfully being considered to serve as Deacons at Christ Community Church! Each of these prospective Deacons brings a unique heart and gifting to serve, encourage, and strengthen the body of Christ.

Dan Duffala

Dan has a deep love for the community and discipleship fostered at Christ Community, and he’s passionate about seeing it grow even more! Actively involved in serving with Edge, Dan also believes strongly in the power of prayer. His heart is to help foster communication that encourages intercession and deepens the prayer life of our church family.

Heather Williams

Heather brings wise and faithful discernment into every area she serves. She senses a strong calling to care for those who are leading, to champion multigenerational discipleship, and to help revive the spirit of hospitality in our church. Her heart to encourage and uplift leaders shines through in all she does.

Josiah & Melissa Downey

The Downeys have a shared passion for sustainable ministry. They believe that leaders in our church would be blessed by sharing parts of their responsibilities, creating space for deeper intimacy with Jesus. Melissa senses a particular calling to care for mothers of young children, while Josiah feels called to walk alongside and strengthen the men of our church family. Together, they embody a beautiful example of teamwork in ministry.
